If you’ve just got engaged and you’re looking for wedding venues with accommodation for guests, then you might like to check out our top tips on stress free wedding guest management.
Prioritise Honoured Guests
I’m sure you’re hoping that your close family, bridesmaids, the groomsmen and any guests making the effort to travel from abroad, can stay in some fantastic onsite guest accommodation on the night of your wedding.
Pendrell Hall is one of the few wedding venues with accommodation which gives you the ability to offer out its guest accommodation in stages; ensuring that your honoured guests get first pick of the accommodation options.
Once you’ve booked Pendrell Hall as your wedding venue we’ll issue you with a Unique Promotion Code. Your wedding guests need the code in order to book any accommodation at Pendrell Hall.
You have the option to advise your honoured guests of the Promotion Code early, perhaps on your Save the Date cards, giving them plenty of time to book their guest accommodation before you share the Promotion Code with all your wedding guests on your wedding invitations.
Let Guests Make an Informed Decision
I am a self-confessed control freak, when planning my own wedding I thought I was doing everyone a favour by assigning wedding guests to specific rooms…big mistake, huge! What I didn’t count on was that lots of my wedding guests had their own needs and preferences, twin beds or double beds, ground floor or first floor, room for a cot etc etc.
I reckon I trebled my wedding planning workload and vowed henceforth to share these words of wisdom with future brides ‘let your guests make their own informed decisions.’
Let guests know that Pendrell Hall is one of the West Midlands’ wedding venues with accommodation for guests, point them in the direction of the easy online booking service and leave them to it!!
My mum summed it up best when she reminded me that I was inviting guests to my wedding not planning their mini-break!
Concentrate on the Fun Stuff
Not everyone will want to stay overnight and that’s fine, most of your wedding guests will and they’ll love not having to face a tipsy taxi ride home at the end of a fabulous day; you’ll love hearing about all their favourite bits of your wedding over breakfast the next morning and you’ll be really glad you opted for a wedding venue with accommodation for guests…
but for now, concentrate on the fun stuff. Think about what you want from your wedding day, what’s important to you and what is going to put a smile on your faces on the day.

It’s very clear that they were incredibly considerate of their wedding guests and treated them to loads of amazing entertainment; from amusing guests at the wedding breakfast with a surprise Host-a Roast, wowing them with close up magic from Sam Fitton and getting them dancing to The Distractions at the end of the night. They concentrated on the fun stuff and it certainly paid off, what a fabulous wedding.
Our sincere congratulations to Jemma and Richard and thanks to Cris Lowis Wedding Photographer for sharing.
