It has been an incredible year for garden weddings here at Pendrell Hall; we’ve seen some amazing garden wedding ideas brought to life and I’d like to take this opportunity to share some of the most memorable ones with you.
Vintage Garden Weddings
Pendrell Hall is a stunning Victorian Country House; its dazzling architecture and incomparable Arts & Crafts design-features inspire a yearning for the romance of yesteryear; while its flawlessly finished interiors satisfy our desire for modern, tasteful and elegant interior design.
It was built at a time when the gardens and landscaping were given just as much care and attention as the design of the hall itself. The six acre estate features an abundance of exquisite garden features perfect for vintage garden weddings.
We have had the pleasure of hosting a couple of exquisitely styled vintage weddings this summer and the fabulously distressed paintwork on the garden gates, wrought ironwork fences, natural redbrick walls which surround the ‘secret’ walled garden have made stunning backdrops for your vintage garden wedding photographs.
Garden Weddings on the Bandstand!
The owners of Pendrell Hall have very recently commissioned the installation of a divine Victorian Bandstand for garden weddings with a difference.
The Bandstand will soon be licensed for civil ceremonies and we can’t wait to see how our couples will choose to decorate this already picture perfect garden ceremony spot.
Garden Wedding Games
Pendrell Hall we are incredibly lucky to have an abundance of outside space. We are proud of our pristine and manicured lawns but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun on them. Garden games are fantastic fun for all ages and often create beautiful natural photo opportunities for your wedding photographer.
Giant Jenga and Connect Four have featured a number of times this summer and croquet remains a timeless classic for garden weddings. Garden Games can certainly help make your drinks reception something special and they’re a great icebreaker for any guests who haven’t met before.
