If you love the idea of an English garden wedding on a beautiful sunny day and dream of exchanging vows outdoors surrounded by nature, then you’ll be looking for stunning outdoor ceremony venues.
Nestled within six acres of lovingly tended gardens on the edge of Codsall Wood in Staffordshire, Pendrell Hall gives you the option of getting married outdoors with the ceremony taking place in our vintage inspired bandstand.
Here’s a few things to think about when considering outdoor ceremony venues.
Getting Ready Indoors
You might be having your ceremony outdoors but you’ll still need somewhere to get ready indoors!
As outdoor ceremony venues go Pendrell Hall is fabulously well equipped with plenty of indoor space for you and your bridesmaids to get ready.
You’ll have access to our amazing ‘Love is Enough’ bridal preparation suite from 10.30am on your wedding day.
It’s spacious, well lit and well out of the way of any guests arriving early to the venue. You can have a giggle with your bridal party as the nervous excitement builds towards your outdoor ceremony.
A Back Up Plan
The wonderful British weather cannot be counted on. We’d like to think we’re one of the most prepared outdoor ceremony venues and we’ll make sure that your ceremony is magical whatever the weather.
We won’t let the rain spoil your big day, we’ll just move everything indoors to our fabulous Morning Room, classically decorated with light pouring in through the gorgeous bay windows, it’s a pretty spectacular back up plan.
Little Things Mean a Lot
When thinking about outdoor ceremony venues spare a thought for your lovely guests.
You might like to mention on your invitations that you’re hoping to hold the ceremony outdoors so that any older relatives can choose whether to bring a shawl or throw.
It’s also a good idea to pop some sunscreen in the powder rooms and have some bottled water available just in case the weather is brilliant!
Style and Substance
If you’re browsing for outdoor wedding venues then we hope you’ll get in touch.
We’d love to show you around Pendrell Hall, we’ll give you a guided tour of this incredible Victorian Country House and its six acres of lovingly tended gardens.
We’ll also take the time to explain our No Corkage drinks policy and how you can design your own wedding menu. You’ll see the guest accommodation wing and meet one of our award-winning wedding Event Managers.
You’ll hear about our Exclusive Use promise which means the whole venue is exclusively yours from 11am on your wedding day; you can get married outside but still enjoy dining inside and strutting your stuff in our incredible ballroom.
Tracey and Adam’s Outdoor Wedding
The gorgeous Tracey and Adam were really lucky to have their outdoor wedding ceremony as planned at Pendrell Hall earlier this year; it had been threatening rain all morning but the weather just held for them. We wish them every happiness for their future together.
Our thanks to the wonderful Helen Howard for capturing their day so beautifully, we particularly enjoyed the Singing Waiters at the wedding breakfast and thought Tracey’s bouquet was simply stunning.
